RHEMA 12/09/09 TREAT ONE ANOTHER WITH LOVING RESPECT

PIX: I saw an angel sitting at a school desk, with several bolts of fabric material.

I had the feeling that the angel was unable to do anything with this new material until something was taken care of. I sensed the angel was saddened in some way and this perplexed me.

UPDATE 12/21/09: Sometime emailed me today and asked me what “boomerang” meant.

WOW TURBO SNAKE
The kids love to wash their hands in Grammy’s sink. They both have 2 stools and bubbles and can spend an hour in there! I noticed in the process that our sink backs up and is draining slowly. So I bought Wayne a $10 turbo snake gizmo at Wallmart to help unclog the sink. This was supposed to be a BD present so he wouldn’t have to get underneath the sink and take it apart.

As soon as we got home from his BD lunch, I could hardly wait to try it! Sure enough, in less than a minute I had it out of the package and inserted through the side hole in the drain plug. I could only put the wire in about 4 inches and it got stuck. I twirled it a couple times and pulled it out. WOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ugliest clog of hair and toothpaste slime suddenly appeared. It was GROSS. So I put it in again and this time it went down about 12 inches and I pulled out another glob. Wow what a tool.

As I pondered this and recent events in my own life, I saw the parable that sometimes our pipes get clogged with shed, dead, old stuff like hair balls. When we are trying to wash away things that occasionally come up in our relationships, sometimes repeated old offenses start to back up and clog up and finally stop up.

PRAYER: Lord, forgive us for the many times we all have repeated the same offenses through out the years in our relationships. We ask that You will help us get to the root of the problem and pull the decaying and rotten globs up and out in Jesus Name. Grant us grace to free our pipes from past debri and open to Your cleansing flow. Thank You, Lord, for washing us with Your forgiveness and mercy, for we all have sinned and come short of You.

Your foundational rule in the earth is that whatever we want men to do to us, we are to do to them. Please reinforce this reminder into our lives. Grant us grace to mature and no longer go to old childish behaviors. Grant us Your love for all we relate to and may we always live to be Your peacemakers in Jesus Name.

The above post came out on the e-mail list yesterday and I just read it this morning. Since I have just walked through exactly the same intercession I know the Lord is putting a strong emphasis on this Word.

05/24/10 THE PLUMBING AND THE PLUMB LINE

We have had a situation with our sink - slow draining - and after having waited for a long time for "someone else" to fix it I took the matter in my hands. Bought the Turbo Snake and removed all those gross things. It was quite impressive that this little tool was able to do the work and nothing more serious needed. Even a child can do it!

A little time later our prayer group was invited by the pastors of a church to go to their church and pray, seek the Lord about some issues they have been struggling with.

05/12/10 VISION OF THE PLUMBING SYSTEM

It all began with a vision I saw of their plumbing system clocked, overflowing, not functioning. I considered this happening in the spirit but was told by the pastor later that their physical plumbing system literally had shut down three times in the last six months.

The plumbing is an important part of a building, of the building process. It is hidden, not visible to the natural eye. Usually only those with skills and training “see it” and are able to maintain and/or fix it. But with such simple tools as the Turbo Snake, even former "serious things" can be fixed now easily. Is it possible that maybe the Lord is saying that He has some very simple tools for the fixing of our spiritual plumbing?

Based on my past rhema I know problems with the “plumbing” (removing spiritual waste safely) are always connected to problems with the “plumb line.” We need to build the right way, using the plumb line, if we don’t want problems later in our house. If we use God’s plumb line in the building process, we won’t have problems with the plumbing later!

So what is and how does God’s spiritual “plumb line” work?


PLUMB LINE – WORD STUDY

1)H594 anak – plummet, plumb, lead-weight . From an unused root, meaning “TO BE NARROW.”

The NARROW GATE is the plumb line! It is He Himself!

NAB Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. 14 How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few

NAB John 10:7 So Jesus said again, "Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came (before me) are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.

I need to choose and go through His narrow gate. According to the world’s perception the commandments, the laws and rules of God are too “narrow” and restrictive. And they truly say I must be holy just as my heavenly Father is holy. Of course I am made holy by the Holy Spirit, through the grace of the Father in Jesus. It is not by might, not by power but by His Spirit. But I have to first submit myself to His plumb line and have to confess that I am lacking. Then He will come as FIRE and purge me… According to Amos 7:8 this is NOT an option!God will make sure that it happens!

NAS Amos 7:7 Thus He showed me, and behold, the Lord was standing by a vertical wall, with a plumb line in His hand.8 And the LORD said to me, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel. I will spare them no longer.

NAS Ezekiel 43:12 "This is the law of the house: its entire area on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

The plumb line separates the holy from the unholy, the precious stones, gold and silver from the dross. Just like the veil(s) of the Tabernacle/Temple separated the different parts in them! It all happens in the FIRE. We are invited just as Israel was invited to His Holy Mountain to receive His Word, His commandments, that He could write them now on the tablets of our hearts. To experience His burning love for us. Israel trembled and sent Moses. What do we choose? And today is the Day of Pentecost...
