Recently I was led to a message I wrote down back in 2006. Back then I received a quickening when I read Isaiah 41 and the Lord directed me to share what He quickened to me in the Quickened Word Community at that time. When I reread this word recently, I was drawn to the words below and feel it is the time for the fulfillment:

"The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. (Isaiah 41:17)

Application: After going through the period, which Verse 15 and 16 describe, Lord will lead many into a new phrase, they will move with the Lord towards the poor and needy, because Lord’s heart will be towards the poor and needy at that time. Lord will show his great compassion towards poor and needy through them.

“I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. 19 I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, (Isaiah 41:18-19)

Application: River of life will flow through those places, which are of hunger and thirst for the living water; many will bring the Gospel of peace to those places through different means. When this happens, the desert will be turned into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. Habakkuk 2:14 will become a reality in that time.

Addition: I sense the river of life will flow into many Muslim countries through many ways. Many ministries will reach the people in those countries who are searching for the true living water through the Internet. The Lord will open the door for such a time like this.

“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2)
